Karachi – Dr. Farooq Sattar locked himself out of his home yesterday afternoon after installing state of the art equipment to idiot-proof his residence.
According to the MQM Rabita Committee, the incident should not reflect on Dr. Sattar’s IQ. “This could’ve happened to anyone trying to get in to an idiot-proofed home”, an official statement released by the MQM-RC states. The statement further says that Dr. Sattar is a simple man and that he is not technologically savvy. “He is good at politics and controlling the city. We can’t expect him to know everything.”
Details according to neighbors expand on the incident. Yesterday after the technicians had successfully installed what they call “IP gadgets”, Dr. Farooq realized that he was out of the house and was not able to figure out how to get inside. One of the neighbors Mr. Azam Baig said, “I saw him standing there looking at the paddle-lock on the door trying to figure out what to do with it. He first scratched his head, but his hand automatically went to scratch his balls.” Mr. Azam further expanded that the kind Dr. upon realizing that he was in public, put his hand inside his pant pockets and scratched his balls from there “…like a true gentleman”.
