Lahore — A Punjab MPA of the PML-Q Unification Block forgot to close his mouth during an intense arguement on a local television news channel, on Thursday. Ata Mohammad Manika, who was one of the guests on the show, was busy paying attention to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab president, Imtiaz Safdar Warraich when he left his mouth open for several seconds. Manika later realised he probably looked like an idiot and immediately closed his mouth. Speaking to Roznama Jawani after the show, Manika said that he was trying to make a point by proving the old Chinese proverb ‘open mouth spew filth’ wrong. He said that he had a heated debate on the subject with some colleagues before the show and was proving his point on national television. He further asserted that medical science has proven that an open mouth helps collect ideas floating in the room.
