Karachi — The National Council of Kaala Jaado Enthusiasts protested outside the Karachi Press Club yesterday, demanding the Supreme Court take immediate notice of the unfair way in which President Zardari continues to use goat sacrifices to protect himself.
It had been reported that National Council of Kaala Jaado was immediately approached by Nawaz Sharif when Asif Zardari had become the President of Pakistan, though the report was never confirmed and Mr. Sharif had refused to comment on it.
The spokesperson for the NCKJE, Amil Naagi Bawa and the vice president of the council Amir Bangali Taweez Wala were talking to the media. “Every day a black goat is sacrificed at the Bilawal House to ward off our nazar. What are we supposed to do? All we can use are black roosters which, given increases in prices, are now too expensive to even get. A goat defeats rooster in the black magic world.”
They complained that they can’t be expected to harm him through nefarious use of djinns if he continues to take advantage of the supernatural system in such a way. “Maybe if we had a black elephant then the odds can change, but the customs department seized the last elephant we tried to import and we’re really running out of options. We did look in to human sacrifice but we weren’t able to find a person black enough to do the trick.”
A woman with her feet turned backwards, who was later identified as a “churail” was also seen carrying a sign with “Goat Zardari Goat!” written on and walking backwards down Shara-E-Faisal.
The President could not be reached for comment.
