SUJAWAL — A local man has formally conceded that his longtime friend Rashid is a bharwa, following what multiple acquaintances described as an extended and increasingly indefensible pattern of random behavior.
The admission came late Tuesday evening after Rashid reportedly engaged in yet another episode of what his friend described as “…unforced bharwatgiri…” prompting a rare moment of clarity rather than the usual cycle of rationalization.
“For years, I defended him,” the friend said. “I blamed stress, misunderstandings, bad timing, other people. At some point you run out of external factors”.
According to individuals familiar with Rashid’s recent conduct, the incidents ranged from impulsive decisions to unnecessary confrontations, paired with an apparent inability to recognize consequences even after they occurred. Several sources said Rashid often appeared surprised by outcomes that had been explicitly predicted to him in advance.
Witnesses said the tipping point came after Rashid repeated a behavior he had previously sworn, “…jaani qasam lele aienda naheen karoonga…” only to insist afterward that no one could have seen it coming.
“That’s when something precious inside of me broke…” the friend said. “Not emotionally. Logically”.
