Rawalpindi — A new campaign targeted at wives of Army officers is urging them to not put out for their husbands till the Armed forces’ true budget is presented in the National Assembly. The campaign saw its first rally yesterday in Islamabad where hundreds of people gathered and chanted slogans in favor of the campaign. The rally organizers spoke with the people who gathered in front of the Army GHQ here in Rawalpindi and said that the women need to step up and do their part. “We need to make this happen. Please stop giving it up for your respective husbands conveniently. They should also feel how other Pakistanis feel most of the time; deprived of their rights.”
