Tripoli — from our Libyan correspondent Sunshine — International pressure on Moammar Gaddafi to end a crackdown on opponents escalated on Monday as the Arab league unanimously backed imposition of a no-fly-zone over Libya. And on the other hand, Gaddafi’s front row loyalist Lady Gaga personally fought the rebels who dared to mock Gaddafi’s fashion sense. Lady Gaga managed to hold the US from moving it’s naval and air forces closer to Libya. Gaga said that it was her secret agenda to find out where he gets his robes from. Lady Gaga has started wearing the same glasses as Gaddafi’s and in a press statement from Libya said, “He is the most eye catching man alive and he is the only one am willing to have bad romance with cuz’ baby we both were born this way.”
Libyan rebels have been fighting back and have stated that Gaddafi wears the glasses because he does not have the guts to have people look him in the eye. They also said that it was very unfair of Gaddafi to not only impose oppression on Libyans but also that his glasses give him an undue advantage as it creates a mystical aura around him. So far, the only thing Gaddafi, Lady Gaga and Libyan rebels agree up on is that his garments are great for hiding mustard stains. The rebels in a statement said that they agree with the fact that Gaddafi’s outfits make him look like the Lawrence of Arabia on a Pakistani tractor. They added that his “icecream-man” dress and the “depressed-Nigerian-grandmother-at-a-wedding” dress is brilliant for a hip fancy-dress party but it did not give him the right to do the Libyans in the arse.
Gaddafi fought back by saying he blames the current uprising against him on BBC, CIA, bearded men, Robert Pattison, Al Jazeera and Al Qaeda but mostly it was Robert Pattison.
